A: Looking at the General Motors website, the Trailblazer has been discontinued, and vehicles no longer come with casette players… I havn’t seen a casette player in anything newer than 2002

I have a 2002 chevy tahoe, that I replaced the power steering pump on about one month ago. At first all was OK, but now, when I have to press the brake hard, I loose my power steering, the wheel kinda locks up. This does not happen all the time, but it is getting worse. When it first happened, I checked the fluid level, and it needed more, but now it is not losing any.

A: Blacked out lights with hids sounds pretty sweet. Flat black would be sweet but may only look good with black steel wheels or black rims. I’d recommend saving the finish on the paint. Do hids, black outs, tint the windows, get Denali chrome/ color match door handles, trex black grill or inserts, black wheels with polished aluminum chrome lip, smoked led front turn signals, led smoked led third brake light. The outside would be clean and cynical/mafia looking. If the interior has cloth seats I’d look around at a wreckers for a denali that has leather interior and swap it. The come with decent speakers, maybe upgrade the cd head unit and add a 12inch sub or a pair of 10’s.. After that maybe aftermarket exhaust with flat black tip(s), cold air intake and performance tip

We are installing a Stereo in a 99 Chevy Tahoe and want to bypass the factory amplifier to the speakers. What is a good way to go about doing this?
A: I will usually run NEW speaker wires from the deck to the speakers in an application such as this. That way, even though I’ve may have removed the factory amp and deck, the wiring is still in place allowing me to easily replace them when the owner chooses to sell the vehicle but wants to keep the after market gear. It also prevents the vehicle from looking tampered with to the new buyer.

A: They just unplug and unscrew, there may be up to four sensors though so make sure to change the right one(s). There is a small tab you push in to unlock the electric connector and they should slide apart. You may need an 02 sensor socket ava at autozone as a lonatool if you cant get a 7/8″ wrench on them.

I have an 1995 chevy Tahoe 350 with 160,000 miles on it, just recently purchased and drove across country with it, I did alot of maint to it before leaving. Now that I am back home now the truck has broke down. Now heres the thing, I can start the truck and she idles kinda rough but when I apply the brakes the engine siezes and stalls. A: Im not sure of Ca but in Az there are “Lemon Laws” that protect you for up to 15 days. The dealer has to fix it or they can be sued . Check lemon laws in your state.
Q: Installing second pair of chevy tahoe fog lights?
I installed on pair of fog lights on my used 1997 chevy tahoe. There were old cables but no lights so that was an easy set up. Now being a dude i wanted yet another set of fog lights, but there wasn’t a cable anymore so i ran a new cable hooking up the new cables to the exact same place as my first pair of lights. But now i keep blowing fuses and only one light on my newer pair of lights work? I don’t know what to do.
A: You cannot run two sets of lights off one fuse unless you are using a bosch relay wired into the system..
This way the relay will be taking the load off of the fuse….as for why you only have one of the newer lights working……check and make sure that you both power and ground going to the light and if so then the bulb is blown out…

A: You dont have a subwoofer. You have full range speakers. 6″ seperates in the rear and 4″ seperates in front.

A: If the brake pedal is “messed up” it is most likely NOT an A.B.S. problem but a primary brake system problem triggering the malfunction light of the A.B.S. Any reputable repair shop can diagnose and solve this for you . Dealer is not a requirement with any vehicle, unless you are still under warranty.

5.7L engine, and does not seems to start I have full power in the vehicle but dont cranking power to the starter, I left sit the truck for a week, without driving it, and then works, but later after days of use the same problem occured. Is it possible my ignition switch has a problem? or the key’s pins are not giving power and has something to do with the starter?
A: I own a shop, and see this all the time. 99% of the time it is nothing more than the battery cables that hook to the battery are in need of a good cleaning. Your starter may be going bad, so try this; next time it does not start, have a friend hold the key to start while you use a hammer to tap on the end of the starter. If it then starts up, you will know the starter is on the verge of failing completely.
