Q: Do you think that for mustangs are fast?
I love mustangs and think that are pretty damn fast. There are faster cars, but there is just something about those stangs.

A: Like stated, the fox body stangs are the kings of the dragstrips and own all the 1/4 mile records. You can not find a faster car in the world for the same amount of money or less then a 03/04 cobra. With only about 1k worth of mods you have yourself a 11 second car that is putting almost 500hp to the wheels (over 500hp to the crankshaft) The new gt mustangs run a 13.5 1/4 which deffinately holds its own. There is not many cars that are faster then that.

Q: Does anybody know of any nice classic cars other than first edition Mustangs?
For some reason i’ve fallen in love with classic cars. I love the 1st edition Mustangs but they can be a bit pricey so if you know of any other classic cars please let me know.

I’ve heard mustangs take a little longer to mature height wise.

A: Most horses stop growing around 5 or 6, but Kiger Mustangs usually stop growing around 6 or 7.

Q: Will the value of older versions of Ford Mustangs decrease once the 2010 Mustang is released?
Would the value of the older versions of Ford Mustangs (Such as the 99-04 Mustangs) decrease once the new 2010 Ford Mustang has been released? I’m looking forward to purchasing a 99-04 Ford Mustang sometime in the future and I was just curious about my theory.

A: Older models always depreciate when a new one is released. Remember also that they will continue to get older and depreciation always increases with age. Consider an 05-09?

Q: Does anyone know anything about the states Mustangs that Ford made?
My husband was telling me about some special Mustangs that Ford made in- I think- 1965/1966. They made twenty specailly colored cars for each state (GA was a peach color, Maryland had raven black with red interior). Any information would help.

A: There was a bunch, California Special, Colorado High Mountain, Texas Blue Bonnet, Arkansas Twister etc.

Q: why do single-wide trailer dwellers like Ford Mustangs so much?

A: mustangs are cheap performance. studies have shown people put money in car rather than there houses.

I was wondering if anyone can tell me if the ford mustangs 2005-2008 are good cars. i have been asking friends, half said, “Yes they are great cars”, while others say “Theyre shitty Cars!” I just wanted to know because I am thinking of getting one in not to distant future.

A: There is no real down side to the 05-08 v8 mustangs. According to consumer reports and jd power they all have “better then average” overall reliability and repair history. There is not a new car you can buy for the same amount of money or less that is as fast as they are. They look great. That pretty much covers it all, great reliability, great speed, and great looks. Like I said, if you stick with the facts, there really is no down side to them.

A: check out MustangForums.com. It is seperated into engines, such as 4.6, 5.0, etc…there are lots of guys from stock to heavily modded with dyno results.

Q: what’s the difference between A, C, K, etc. -code ’60s mustangs?
I’m looking at old 1960’s mustangs, and some are listed as A, C, or K code. What does this mean? is it a performance package? Why do they cost more? Is it worth it to pay more for a -code mustang, or are they collector cars?

A: All Mustangs and Fords have a engine code in the vin number, it’s the 5 digit.
The more a car cost when new, the more it’s worth later as a collector car, so the more options the better. the standard engine was a six, when you ordered the GT option, you got the A code engine with it and the opportunity to upgrade to the High Performance K code engine.
