the ZR1 is faster, handles better and drives better than the viper. it’s also comfortable to sit in and won’t cook you in the seat (the door sills on a viper literally get hot enough to cook eggs on)

A: depending on which 50 states you live in could be 3-5 grand a year and most insurance companies will not insure you at that age for that kind of car, I know AAA and State Farm wont in Calif

A: How fast CAN it go? Seen videos doing high 7’s in the quarter. Otherwise I think it’s around 10-11 seconds….but not totally sure. Sells for around 80-90k. Gold diggin’ women consider anything sexy if it stickers for that kinda cash!

Q: dodge viper smoking head gaskets replaced and o2 sensors?
98 dodge viper gts. just had head gaskets replaced. Dropped pan, changed oil three times to flush. cut heads .005 to clean up. driven it about 15 miles and it seems to smoke a little under hard acceleration, just at take off. It appears to be oil smoke, any ideas? will this go away. Car runs great, smoke is intolerable.

A: You made a promise. Backing out now for whatever reason is feeble. Get him the car and put lo-Jack and a good security system on it. Insurance does serve a purpose should any problems occur while parking in a public lot. So by all means, honor yourself for the great job you did raising that fine young man. Get him the Viper and be proud. Maybe he’ll do the same for you in the future.

A: i like any viper they make that’s the one car that i think Chrysler builds that is really worth its money and does hold its re-sale value,but you wont see to many of these setting on car lots for sale,their all home in well protected garages,the ascari is a nice one ,i don’t think they ever built a bad viper,if they have i haven’t seen it yet,i have seen a few get wrecked,but they all got fixed back ,this is one car you wont see in a junk yard,good luck with it.

A: check through some of the rental companies they may have access to one of those ,that’s not a normal rental vehicle though,and I’m sure it would cost plenty,it can be done though,anything can be done,good luck.

A: The problem you will face is the amount of torque that motor puts out. You will have to change almost every part to support that motor and a new trans. and rear end. If you find and a wreched R/T 10 Dodge truck, or one with the motor pulled, this was the only other vehicle Dodge made to handle that motor. It has the six speed trans and the rear end and computer set up to properly run that motor. Sorry no Neons, or Chargers. If you see any on line its all custom.

A: There are a lot of good cars but if you want something good and got money to burn i would try a lambroghini. they are usually exceptional cars. I know you dont want an american car but a high quality corvette would also be a gret selection.

A: to actually answer your question. the mileage range on a car. is potentially unlimited, thinking of it logically i would say around 200-240 if you find one with less then it would be fine ofcourse, thus thinking about your tunes and everything you would need done to the car. more then likely needing a clutch rebuild, and a engine tune, anything else that is needed is worth pennies compared to the major components, i have been a mechanic for many years. seen older vipers last for a long time but the transmission in them does go fast just because most people drive them hard, in my opinion if your looking to do anything to a viper it would be a aftermarket racing clutch. it would take any abuse you give it. thats just me

i havent actually worked with these specific cars before but i do own 3 garages that fix every day trucks, cars, imports ect. and i havent driven a dodge viper either. but i will say this. any vehicle will last a lifetime as long as your willing to service it when needed. and watch what your doing with it. i hope you have fun with that new viper and hey good luck with your car i hope that you get no mechanical problems and i wish you and your car a long happy life good luck …max

Hi as it states there is a 1994 dodge viper team gravity edition (never heard of though) red clean title etc only 27 thousand miles i would trade in my 02 c5 coupe 6 speed with 76k miles longtube headers full exhaust bolt ons etc. my payments would be around the same and i have always loved the viper also any major issues with vipers? how expensive is maintenance thanks IN Advance! A: if it were me. i would do this trade in a heart beat since i love vipers.. their sleek, fast, and can turn heads.
my suggestion is do it, though do some search on the internet about team gravity etc..
